Our Agency gained the Gold Award from the website stream of the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme once again for the year 2022-23. The awards presentation ceremony of the Scheme was held on 24 April 2023. On behalf of the Agency, our Corporate Communications and Development Manager received the award with our Information Technology Manager in the ceremony.

The Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme is organized by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited and co-organized by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer. It aims to give credit to organizations from all fields for adopting accessibility designs in their websites and mobile applications to make the information and services provided online more accessible to Internet users with special needs, including disability groups and seniors.

The Gold Award in the Scheme requires fulfillment of various judging criteria, including handy operation, meaningfully sequenced and structured contents, clear and informative headings, and suitable colour contrast of text and images, among others. In accordance with our goal of building an equal and inclusive society, our website adopted accessibility designs for the intention that people with different needs can easily obtain our latest news and service information through the Internet.
